About Me

Hey there, I’m Jeannine.

I help “non-therapy” people who are experiencing a difficult time in their life.

Through weekly therapy sessions, using person-centered treatment, we can work together to help you feel better.

Why choose to work with me?

If you’ve done individual therapy in the past and you experienced a lack of change in your life or didn’t feel listened to, know that working with me will be different because I will truly work as your partner in the change process. Therapy should be transformative and a place that you feel safe enough to make changes.

Therapy is work. It’s hard. You have to be willing to be honest with yourself and want to make some changes in yourself and/or your life. If you are ready to do that, let’s get started!

“I think talking about (mental health) is the most important thing. I'm hopeful that the taboo of it is all going away because more and more people are talking about it.”

— Pink

 My Story

I’m passionate about being a therapist that is genuine and approachable to clients to create a therapeutic bond that helps in treatment. I’m trying to change the stigma and stereotypes associated with therapy. I want you to have a therapeutic experience that is not “stuffy.” People that don’t know me are often surprised that I am a therapist. I don’t use psycho-babble, sip tea, and sit in my chair while you lay on a couch and feel judged. I use everyday language (maybe some cuss words here and there), humor, and real-life situations to connect and teach you along the way. If clients can relate to me as a person trying to navigate life, like they are, then we can make some real changes together. Because after all, I experience life’s ups and downs as well. However, I have the expertise and training to create the change for others.

What would you like to know about me? Here’s some fun facts. I love to be outdoors (but definitely not camping), being physically active, laughing (on a good day), and attempting a DIY (Yes, I said attempting). I am a wife, mom, sister, daughter, animal lover, and sports fan. I used to have hobbies before I became a mom….now my hobbies are my kids’ activities! That being said, you’ll most likely find me at a rink, on a sideline, or at some sporting event outside of sessions.

The boring stuff.
